Project Development Coordinator
Join Fossefall as Project Development Coordinator: Keep complex, multi-stakeholder AI-infrastructure projects structured and moving, from early idea to Final Investment Decision.
The role
Big infrastructure projects rarely stall for lack of ambition. They stall because no one is holding the thread - the deliverable that slips, the document no one updated, the decision waiting on information that never arrived. We're hiring the person who holds that thread.
What you'd actually do
Fossefall develops AI factories that turn Nordic renewable power into sovereign computing capacity for Europe. Every project we run has to travel from early idea to Final Investment Decision (FID) through a dense web of partners, permits, financing and engineering deliverables. As Project Development Coordinator, you keep that journey structured and moving - so the project team spends its time deciding, not chasing.
You report to the Head of Project Development Manager locatied in Stavanger, and work across project development, finance, property development and delivery. You'll own the structure the portfolio runs on:
Keep the portfolio legible.
Maintain one clear, current view of every project - deliverables, dependencies, risks and readiness against milestones.
Prepare the reviews, presentations and decision materials that move projects toward FID.
Produce the status updates, action trackers and management summaries senior stakeholders rely on.
Hold the coordination together.
Run follow-up across workstreams so documentation and milestone requirements land on time.
Prepare and coordinate development-gate deliverables.
Participate in partner and stakeholder meetings, capture what was decided, and chase the actions that follow.
Own document control.
Structure and maintain project data rooms, folder systems and repositories - and the access rights around them.
Keep documentation complete, current and consistent across every workstream.
Set and hold the information-quality and document-control standard across the project lifecycle.
Improve the system as you go.
Maintain and sharpen the Project Maturation Process (PMP) templates.
Make consistent use of approved templates and standards the norm, not the exception.
Push small, continuous improvements to how we govern and report on projects.
You'll recognise yourself here if
You create order instinctively - complexity makes you reach for a structure.
You spot the missing document or the unowned action before they become a problem, and you follow up without being asked.
You take real ownership: if it's slipping, you treat it as yours to fix.
You write clearly for a senior audience - a tight summary, not a wall of text.
You stay calm and systematic when priorities shift, which here they will, as projects mature.
The role rewards people who bring their own order to a fast-changing one. This won't suit you if you need a settled, slow-moving environment with fixed routines. We are a scaleup!
What you need
A real track record of bringing structure to complex work. We weigh demonstrated rigour.
A relevant degree - engineering, economics, business, environmental science, industrial management or similar - is useful, but we'll take demonstrated capability over a specific qualification.
Strong presentation and Excel skills for tracking, reporting and quality control.
Clear written and spoken English. Norwegian or another Nordic language is a plus.
Why spend the next chapter of your career here
You'll sit close to genuine Final Investment Decisions on infrastructure of European significance - so your work is visible and meaningful.
You'll see how large projects actually get financed, permitted and delivered: exposure most people wait years for.
Real ownership from week one, alongside people who've done this before and will teach and mentor you.
Room to grow as the portfolio and the company grow.
Practicalities
Location: Stavanger or Oslo, hybrid.
Reports to: Head of Project Development.
Direct reports: none.
About Fossefall
Fossefall is a Nordic AI-infrastructure company founded in 2025. We're around 30 people today, and moving fast to bring many more warm and talented people on board.
As a team, we're still small enough to know each other as people. We're curious — about each other, and about how the whole machine fits together — and we explain the why behind what we do. We're warm and generous with one another, and no one is left alone with a problem: we think out loud and bounce ideas together. We're clear about who owns what, and we do what we said we would.
What we're building
We develop and operate AI factories powered by renewable energy, turning clean Nordic power into scalable, sovereign computing capacity for Europe - built in partnership with local communities, energy producers and technology leaders across the world.
