As Commercial Finance Manager in Revenue Generation, you own the numbers behind our biggest deals, shape how we price and package sovereign AI capacity and sit at the table when the big calls are made. It is an extremely challenging role where no two weeks look the same and the playbook is still being written. What you'll do

• Be the financial brain behind our largest deals: build the business cases, pricing models and deal structures for complex, multi-year agreements with large and demanding clients.

• Model the unknown. You build scenarios from first principles across energy, hardware, utilization, capex and contract terms and show exactly what has to be true for a deal to fly.

• Work shoulder to shoulder with CRO in live client discussions, challenge assumptions in real time and turn complex trade-offs into a clear yes, no or not like this.

• Be the trusted financial partner for the commercial side of Fossefall: advise leadership on business models, new markets and where to place our next big bets, with decision material that is sharp, honest and ready for the boardroom.

About you

This is not a role for everyone, and that is the point. We are looking for a technically minded finance talent who wants broad financial ownership, hard problems to solve and a front-row seat in the build-out of European AI infrastructure. You will recognize yourself here:

• A master's degree in a technical or quantitative field, such as engineering, physics, mathematics, computer science or industrial economics. A degree combining technology with finance or economics is a strong plus.

• Several years of experience from corporate finance, M&A, investment banking, strategy consulting, private equity or commercial finance in a fast-growing company, with hands-on experience building financial models used for real investment and pricing decisions.

• A genuine and keen interest in AI and the infrastructure that powers it. You follow the space closely, understand why compute, power and cooling matter and are excited to help build the industry, not just analyze it from the outside.

• Outstanding modelling skills. You are fast and precise, structure complex problems from first principles and stay calm when the inputs are uncertain and the stakes are high.

• Commercially sharp and confident in the room, you can hold your own with senior client stakeholders, defend your numbers under pressure and change your mind when the evidence says so.

• Comfortable with pace and ambiguity, you enjoy wearing many hats, take full ownership without waiting to be asked and see a blank page as an opportunity rather than a problem.

• A clear and convincing communicator who can turn complex analysis into simple messages, both in writing and in front of leadership and clients.

What success looks like

Within the first few months, you will have built a working understanding of Fossefall's commercial priorities and made business-case discussions clearer through transparent scenarios and assumptions. In this proposed scope, success means that colleagues can compare options, understand the main sensitivities and use your recommendations to make better-informed choices about business models and new markets. Specific objectives will be agreed once the fuller brief is confirmed.
